5 steps to FREE UP energy

Energy matters, not time.  
Energy is vital for us to engage fully in our life, our job, our family, our projects. With more energy, we are efficient, high performant and we can lead our projects with ease, joy and creativity towards success!

I am happy to share 5 pragmatic steps to embody intention into action and increase energy.

  1. Say No

One client was telling me the other day: ’one way would be to make days longer than 24 hours’ 😜
Our time is limited, most importantly our energy is limited, so we rather start saying No to all what doesn’t give us time nor energy!
Saying No is the greatest gift of connecting to ourselves, to our deepest values, to what we truly want to create, to our deepest joy and satisfaction.
Start saying No can be challenging for most of us.

To what are you saying No at first?

  1. Listen to your emotions

Emotions are not here to bother us! The more we are aware of our emotions, the more we can integrate their message towards what to say yes to and what to say no to. Our emotions are not only a great source of information, they are pure energy in motion. When we let them flow, they give us energy. When they are stuck in us, it depletes our energy.

Which emotions can you feel right now? What are your emotions telling you?

  1. Don’t take it personally

How to put more distance to all situations, happenings, encounters, meetings, phone calls and presentations which are causing stress, nervousness, anxiety, anger, sadness, body tensions and body aches of all kind?
One way is to open your body posture. This slight shift in our body posture changes the way we think, perceive and feel of any event. Just try it out now. Sit or stand with a more open body posture.

How does it feel, what is different now?

  1. Preparation is key

This is quite obvious, right? Be well prepared, prepare your presentation, the next meeting, an important conversation, your next move or the next event.
What is less obvious is actually the most important: prepare YOURSELF🌟
It is essential to prepare our state of Being, our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual states. To be at our best, to access our full resources and potential, we need to get into the mood and we want to get prepared for it.

How do you prepare yourself? How do you take care of yourself?

  1. Urgent vs important

Most of the time, we are running after what is most urgent. Does it sound familiar to you? A project deadline? A customer request? A family gathering? Holidays, even?
In doing so, we are taking the focus away from what is most important to us.
Do you catch yourself doing 1.000 of urgent things and unimportant stuff, and then being frustrated at the end of the day to not having accomplished the most important ones?
Watch out! Get clarity on what is the most important to you and start your day with it, before the most urgent takes you over!
